Okay, I swear I'm not stalking you, but I think you have to be my new best friend. The things I have in common with you:
#9 - Never - not once. And I have extra BAD vision, so I don't know what this means. #11, #25 - I never did, but my mom did for 15-plus years and do I have the stories to tell, #31 - of course, why wouldn't we?, #33 - again, not me, but my mom the original "Teacher Lady" introduced me to the concept of "Mental Health Days for teaching professionals," #34-39 (all of them!), #43, #49, #52, #59 and #60 (I wish I invented Gilmore Girls!), #65-66, #82 - totally! It's pointless! #85, #93 - it really freaked me out and no one understood why! #97, #99, and of course, #100. Couldn't have anything to do with my mom saying, "Major appliances always break in threes," now could it?

Great blog!

Thank you! It's so funny- when I found your blog, I thought the same thing- especially the link to Jesus of the week. We have a collection of just such things in our home.
One more episode of Gilmore until the fall- however will we survive???

I also really like that wierd catholic paraphernalia. when i am outside of churches in mexico I like to stock up, but then i bring it home and it just loiters around the house. is it sacrelige to say the virgin loiters? hope not.

i am a christian. i am not sure what a fundamentalist is really, but i am pretty sure the "i am right and you are wrong because god told me so" variety of christians is what god meant when he said not to take his name in vain.

he gets pretty upset about that, so i, personally, think GWB is busted when he sees the almighty. IMHO.

anyway, i got hooked at the age and the movies, also raising arizona, i am not sure why, but that movie is RICH and i think it is the best one from those brothers that made it.

nap dyno as well, everything is funny, but in my bro's fam they all think it is extremely stupid, so I don't admit how much i think they are losers for not seeing its genius. plus they are republicans, but i digress.

curly hair, yup, but i love it. also never really envisioned myself as a teacher. now i really really love it.

mental health days, but of course.

good vision here too, 20/10. sometimes too good i think.

esl and french, or fronch, as i like to call it. 5 years studying the language, but now it takes me like 15 minutes to say "i want cheese"

yup yup good stuff. also love to read and i would join 2 book clubs if i could find them...
